If you’re looking for a unique experience in Los Angeles, add DATALAND to your list. Located in Downtown LA, DATALAND is the world’s first AI art museum, and it officially opened on June 20, 2026. (Dataland)
Instead of traditional paintings and sculptures, DATALAND uses artificial intelligence, light, sound, and digital art to create an immersive experience. Every room feels different, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by moving visuals that react in unique ways.
Before you enter the exhibit, you’ll be given disposable shoe covers to wear over your shoes. This helps protect the floors inside the museum, so be prepared to slip them on before your visit.
The museum’s first exhibition, Machine Dreams: Rainforest, takes you on a journey inspired by nature using AI-generated visuals, sound, and immersive effects. It’s a different kind of art experience that’s both relaxing and fascinating. (Dataland)
I recommend taking your time in each room instead of rushing through. There are so many details to notice, and every space is perfect for photos and videos.
