LOS ANGELESPOP UPS

1/11/2026

If you’re in Los Angeles and love cars, culture, or just something different to do on a weekend — you’ll want to check this out. American Icon: A Mustang Immersive Experience is a limited‑run interactive exhibit that celebrates the Ford Mustang, one of America’s most famous cars.

What It Is

This isn’t just a car show. It’s a walk‑through, multi‑sensory experience that mixes art, history, and entertainment. You’ll see:

  • Immersive rooms with 360° projections and storytelling about Mustang’s story.

  • Famous Mustangs from movies and pop culture.

  • A 4D motion ride that makes you feel like you’re driving.

The whole thing takes about 45–60 minutes, so it’s perfect for an afternoon adventure with friends, family, or a date.

Where It Is

📍 516 S Mission Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90033 — right in downtown LA.

It’s set inside a big studio space (Ace Mission Studios) that’s been turned into the Mustang world — cool for photos too.

Hours & Dates

The experience runs through early 2026 — so you’ve got time to plan it in.

Typical hours are:

  • Monday, Wednesday–Friday: 11 am – 7 pm

  • Saturday & Sunday: 10 am – 7 pm

  • Closed Tuesdays (so plan around that).

Tickets & Prices

  • General admission: Around $25.50–$34 depending on the day.

  • Kids 12 and under: Free when with a paying adult.

  • Discounts are often available for students, seniors, and military.

  • Parking is available nearby and usually around $10 if you’re driving.

Why You Should Go

Whether you lived with a Mustang in your family, saw one on the big screen, or just love design and storytelling, this experience feels like a mini movie + museum + theme ride all in one.

It’s nostalgic without being boring, and it’s fun even if you’ve never cared about cars before.
